Trust before scale
Methodology
If we cannot support a commercial fact, we should not present it as fact.
1. We build from sources
Pricing and feature claims should come from the vendor's own pricing, documentation, or support pages whenever possible. Affiliate terms should come from the exact program or network page.
2. Every volatile fact gets a date
Software changes quickly. Product records include a verification date and source URLs. If the stored snapshot conflicts with the live vendor page, the live vendor page wins.
3. Research is not a review
If Molvya has not actually used a product, we label the evidence as official-source research. We do not imply first-hand experience that did not happen.
4. Commission does not rank products
Affiliate availability is a monetization field, not a quality score. A higher-paying program does not earn a higher recommendation.
5. We prefer fewer, useful pages
Molvya should not publish large batches of near-duplicate AI pages. New pages need a real decision question, useful comparison dimension, or original structured value.
6. Stack Builder is deterministic
The Stack Builder uses explicit primary and secondary jobs, role fit, and stored starter-tier pricing. Primary-purpose tools are preferred; a materially lower-cost secondary workflow is labeled as such, and budget is never used to hide an uncovered job. It does not secretly optimize for affiliate payout.
Corrections
If a product page is stale, the fastest source of truth is the linked vendor page. A public correction workflow will be added before broad launch.
