Gamma Plus vs Pro: what the extra $9/month buys

A source-based look at Gamma's $9 Plus and $18 Pro annual-billing tiers, and the features that actually separate them.

Evidence note: This is based on Gamma’s live pricing information checked on October 8, 2026. It is not a hands-on review.

The price gap is small, but the reason to upgrade should be specific

Gamma listed Plus at $9 per seat per month and Pro at $18 per seat per month, both when billed annually.

That makes Pro exactly $9/month more on the annual-billing equivalent. The useful question is not whether Pro is “better.” It is whether you need a Pro-only capability.

What Plus adds over Free

On the pricing page Molvya checked, Plus included:

For a solo creator who mainly wants polished presentations or visual documents without Gamma branding, that may already cover the job.

What Pro adds

Gamma listed Pro with 4,000 monthly credits and additional capabilities including:

Those are more operational features than cosmetic upgrades. If you need API workflows, multiple branded outputs, or deeper publishing control, Pro has a clearer reason to exist.

Don’t upgrade for unused headroom

If your only reason to choose Pro is “more AI,” check your actual credit usage first. Paying for unused capacity is still subscription bloat.
